I have not messed with the spacer or idle mixture, or needle position. I have drilled two I/2 inch holes and two 3/8 holes in the end of my stock muffler (end piece). Also changed to a 150 main jet. My '97 runs perfect from Phoenix Arizona to the high mountain ranges of Colorado, so go figure!?
